Green Bee - Frances Dress for girls Sewing Pattern 2-10 years old

The Frances dress is a casual shirt-dress with contrast placket and collar, two sleeve variations - short sleeves or a cuffed and button tabbed three quarter sleeve. Optional tie or ruched waist & optional pocket.  

This classic shirt dress for girls features a short or 3/4 sleeve variation, a yoke which the dress front and back gather into, a button placket, and collar. Stitch it in a single fabric for a classic look, or add a contrast. 

Girls' sizes 2-10 included.

Recommended fabric: 

Mid weight quilting cotton, cotton/linen, seersucker, chambray, flannel or pique.  

Sewing Notions:

seven buttons, thread, 80 cm light to medium weight fusible interfacing, for optional ruched waist - 1.5 m knit elastic.
