Pattern Information

A delicate buttoned-up dress with an elastic waistband and a pretty scalloped collar. The pattern includes 2 sleeves versions and a blouse option. Its wise design enables all choices of fabrics. An intermediate level of difficulty will seduce expert seamstresses but will also convince beginners to dare a project that requires patience and thoroughness.

Fabric Information 

 A beautiful and high quality lightweight cotton lawn fabric featuring stunning Morris style large floral design in mustardy ochre colour on a plum background. This fabric is ideal for dressmaking as it offers the great qualities of breath-ability of cotton, is a dream to sew with and to wear.

Cotton lawn is a perfect material for dressmaking especially if you are a beginner as it does not shift when handling and is easy to cut and sew. I made multiple tops, shift dresses and shirt dresses from it when I started my sewing journey.

Washing Instructions: wash gently on 30 degress, low spinning and with a detergent for delicate fabrics.  Iron on a low setting on the wrong side of the fabric. 

Use brand new, fine Microtex needle as well as new extra fine pins when sewing Sateen fabrics to maintain the sheen and beauty of it.
