Make an Outfit - Summer Haze Brown Viscose Poplin with Linen Fabric Bundle

We handpicked two or three complementary fabrics that blend beautifully with each other and will allow you to create a cohesive outfit. 

This is not only a fun and perfect wardrobe building purchase, it will also save you over 10% off the value of these fabrics if you were to purchase them separately. 

In this bundle we chose our favourite and bestselling Viscose Poplin fabric and matched it with the solid colour linen cotton blend fabric. They make a beautiful pair together and perfect for sewing a natural and breathable outfit for summer or early autumn.   

These two handpicked fabrics are ideal for sewing a cohesive outfit in your desired colour palette. The viscose poplin fabric is perfect for making a dress, shirt, skirt or a blouse while matching solid colour linen fabric can be used to sew a skirt, trousers, over-shirt, shorts or a jumpsuit. 

Our suggested patterns for this bundle would be following:

For Linen Fabric - Paper Theory Zadie Jumpsuit or Block Tee, Estuary Skirt by Sew Liberated and Free Range Slacks from Sew House Seven. The fabric has a beautiful texture characteristic to linen. You can of course choose any other of your favourite patterns. 

For Viscose Poplin - Tilly and The Buttons Indigo Smock Dress or Skye Dress, The Blouse or Everyday Shirt  by The Avid Seamstress, Reeta shirt dress by Named Clothing and Hailey shirt by Experimental Space.  

Threads are not included in this bundle, however if you would like to add matching threads to your three fabrics please add 2 threads separately to your basket and we will match them for you. 

Descriptions of the Fabrics Included: 

Linen Cotton blend fabric 

This fabric is ideal for dressmaking as it offers the best qualities of both fibres, the breathability of linen paired with the natural temperature regulating qualities of cotton, it is structured with linen feel and is a dream to sew with and to wear.

Suitable for: dresses, tops, shirts, trousers, tunics, skirts and accessories. 

Fibre Content: 55% Linen 45% Cotton 

Width: 135m

Weight: Lightweight 175 gm /sqm

Opacity: Opaque 

Drape: structured and full

Washing Instructions:  30 degrees (we recommend that you pre-launder fabric before sewing as shrinkage may occur). 

Summer Haze in Brown - viscose poplin fabric 

This joyous high quality viscose fabric features stunning floral design in ochre and abstract animal print on the light milky brown background. We love how the floral and animal print come together so gently in this fabric. It is lightweight and has the most pleasant handle, with silky soft hand finish and beautiful drape. 

Viscose Poplin has a higher weave count than a normal viscose lawn or chally and feels almost like cotton lawn but with beautiful weight and drape. It is easier to sew with thanks to is weight and feel. 

Suitable for: It would make beautiful dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts, tops, jumpsuit or accessories.

Drape:  Fluid

Washing Instructions: wash gently on cool wash, low spinning. Iron on a low setting on ideally on the wrong side of the fabric.
