The popular Urban Leo design is back in new colours and on an improved quality viscose twill fabric.
Featuring a contemporary large scale leopard print, this woven ECOVERO™ Viscose twill is very versatile and suited for both tops, dresses and light bottoms. It's a classic twill weave with a rather weighty and soft fluid drape. This fabric is fully opaque and has a soft semi-matte touch. The design is printed on a solid dyed base, so the base color is on the back side as well.
It is printed on ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres which is a sustainably certified viscose fiber. It's made of wood pulp that is derived only from certified and controlled wood sources. The producion of ECOVERO™ Viscose only requires half the water compared to regular viscose production, and the CO2 emissions and use of fossile ressouce is also halved, compared to conventional viscose production.
The ECOVERO™ fibre has been certified with the international recognized EcoLabel, which is only awarded to products and services which have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their lifecycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The natural fibers from the wood makes the ECOVERO™ Viscose very breathable and comfortable to wear. The fibers does not get static, they maintain their soft texture, and they keep the colors very well. The ECOVERO™ fibers are produced and certified by Austria based Lenzing, which is behind the production and certfication of the sustainable TENCEL™ fiber.
The fabric is digitally printed, which means that the back side is white. We recommend to use a microtex needle for your sewing machine to avoid any damage on the print, when you sew.
