Our latest exclusive collection “Summer Party” celebrates colour and its joyous impact on us. Painted Foliage was exclusively designed by Rachel Parker for Lamazi Fabrics, a lovely personality who has brought a lot of colour and joy to our handmade wardrobes. It features abstract design of foliage in bold and beautiful colours. Inspired by the idea of a rainbow canopy of leaves, Rachel painted the affect of dappled sunlight passing through the foliage and tried to capture summer in the fabric.
Painted Foliage is a high quality softened linen offering classic benefits of breathability and crispiness of a good quality linen. It is lightweight and will make all types of garments or accessories. It is ideal for dresses, tops, shirts, tunics and trousers for your Spring / Summer wardrobe.
This linen is Mill Washed, highly environmentally responsible method that involves mechanical softening process, without any use of emzymes, chemical substances or the waste of water unlike stone-washed linens requiring large amount of water.
The Inks used in the production of “Summer Party” are also GOTS certified Organic quality and water based, so natural and sustainable, good for the skin and for the nature.

Washing Instructions:
It is advisable to always wash your fabric before sewing as shrinkage will occur when the fabric is first washed.
Choose a mild detergent without bleach. Wash your fabric with a delicate program, temperature max 40° , Gentle spin (max 800 rpm). Dry your laundry in the open air, taking care to smooth it out when it comes out of the machine.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
It is advisable to overlock the cut edges before wash to avoid fraying.
Iron at medium temperature.
Use brand new, fine Microtex needle as well as new extra fine pins when sewing.
This fabric is sold in HALF METERS so if you require 1 meter please enter 2 as a quantity.
