For Eddie, it’s best to choose a sturdy fabric that holds its shape well. Quilted fabrics, teddy fabric or other materials with a distinct texture are ideal choices and give the large brim extra character. Avoid thin, supple fabrics, so that you can shape the brim exactly as you wish, using the iron wire.
