Mingus is a coat that will surprise you in more ways than one. The straight front panel flows into a generous scarf that you can drape casually around your neck for a cosy, elegant look. With the matching belt, you can cinch the coat at the waist and decide for yourself how loose or fitted you want to wear it. The detachable sleeves offer extra versatility: with just a few buttons, you can transform Mingus into a sleeveless version in an instant. A coat, a duster and a scarf all in one – Mingus has it all.

Fabric suggestions:
For Mingus, it’s best to choose a fabric that keeps you warm and is supple. Think of wool, a soft coat fabric or a supple wool blend that has enough body for the coat, yet drapes nicely in the long scarf. You should therefore avoid fabrics that are too stiff or thick, so that the scarf sits comfortably around the neck and isn’t too bulky. A fabric with two attractive sides is particularly fun, as the inside of the scarf will be visible when worn.
