The Marcia cardigan is knitted from top to bottom. At the beginnig, the shoulders are knitted separately. Then stitches are picked up to create set-in sleeves, allowing the continuity of stripes across the body and sleeves. The V-neck and sleeve caps are shaped with increases. Sleeves and collar are worked last, making it an engaging project for beginners and experienced knitters alike.

The measurements are given for the finished bust circumference. This pattern is designed with an approximate ease of 2.5 cm* [1’’] and is intended for a height of 165 cm [5.5 ft]. Feel free to adjust the length to fit your height.
*If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a fitted look, as the cardigan can be worn with negative ease.
