Cousette - Country Checks Viscose Fabric

We are thrilled to be stocking Cousette, an independent brand based in France. These elegant high quality and sustainably manufactured fabrics are designed in France and woven, dyed and printed in Portugal or France, they are all OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics and some made from ECOVERO fibres. Cousette fabrics stand out for their elegant motifs, superior quality and versatility. They will help you create the most beautiful capsule wardrobe for all seasons. 

The "Dernières Fleurs" (Last Flowers) collection was born from the golden light that accompanies the end of the season. It is a collection inspired by country homes, last-minute gathered bouquets, and vintage fabrics rediscovered in an old wardrobe. 

Inspired by country-style linens, Country Checks viscose reimagines the traditional check pattern with a delicate design featuring brick-red and deep blue hues against an ecru background. Printed on a delicately textured viscose, this fabric captivates with both its pattern and its feel. Its subtly textured weave adds character and a natural look, while retaining the softness and soft drapey nature of viscose.

Suitable for: dresses, tops, blouses, trousers, shirts and accessories.

Care: Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, do not tumble dry, iron on reverse side at a moderate temperature. It is advisable to always wash your fabric before sewing as shrinkage will occur when the fabric is first washed. Viscose tends to shrink by about 5%.
