Ola is a loose dress with an asymmetrical button closure at the front that flatters the waist. The ties on the inside keep everything neatly in place (no unexpected glimpses, we promise!), and the gathers at the neckline in the back give Ola a subtle playful accent. The sleeves also get that little bit extra: pleats in the sleeve hem, finished with a cuff and sleeve slit. The stand-up collar adds the finishing touch and makes Ola a real must-sew.

Fabric recommendations:
Cotton fabrics such as voile cotton, poplin (stonewashed, paper or nylon touch), chambray, etc. are obvious choices for Ola. Though fabrics such as silk (satin), seersucker, lyocell, crepe, double gauze, linen, and embroidered fabrics are also suitable. Ola's many strengths come into their own in a plain fabric or one with a subtle print such as fine stripes.
