Sewing Kit - Noe Top & Dress in About-A-Dot Umber Viscose Crepe

This kit contains all supplies you will need to make the just launched lovely Noe Top or Dress by Chalk & Notch in our Mind The Maker About-A-Dot viscose crepe fabric. You have a choice to make a top, a short dress, or a long dress (choose your preference from the dropdown menu).

Pattern Information

The Noe is an a-line tank and dress sewing pattern with three lengths: cropped tank, above knee mini dress, and midi length dress. Options for a high or low scoop front neckline and a full or open back with ties are included. All views have optional lined bodice for a beautiful, clean finish at the neckline and armholes.

We are so delighted to present the latest collection of high quality fashion fabrics by Mind The MAKER who are based in Denmark and design with the maker in mind. All Mind The Maker fabrics are using sustained manufactured fibres, Oeko Tex Certified and some organic.

Made with high-quality ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers, this fabric offers a lovely drape with a lightly crisp, yet soft touch. This fabric is very versatile and perfect for a wide range of garments, like shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts and light trousers. It's on the weighty end of the scale for light dressmaking fabrics, ensuring a 100% opaque appearance with impressive durability. The 'dyed and printed' technique ensure a seamless look from every angle with no white back.

The fabric is made of 100% LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose, which is a sustainbly certified viscose fiber by LENZING™ with minimal environmental impact in the production process (compared to production of traditional viscose fibers). It's made of wood pulp that is derived only from certified and controlled wood sources. The producion of ECOVERO™ Viscose only requires half the water compared to regular viscose production, and the CO2 emissions and use of fossile ressouce is also halved, compared to conventional viscose production.

The ECOVERO™ fiber has been certified with the international recognized EcoLabel, which is only awarded to products and services which have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their lifecycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The natural fibers from the wood makes the ECOVERO™ Viscose very breathable and comfortable to wear. The fibers does not get static, they maintain their soft texture, and they keep the colors very well. The ECOVERO™ fibers are produced and certified by Austria based Lenzing, which is behind the production and certfication of the sustainable TENCEL™ fiber.
