Fabric recommendations:
Fabric type: Choose teddy fabric (sherpa fleece) or plush teddy with a soft, thick pile, (faux) fur, bouclé, felt, leather, chunky knit fabric, etc.
Fibre content: Polyester for warmth and ease of care. May also be blended with acrylic or cotton.
Weight: Heavy and bulky (approx. 300-450 g/m2) for maximum warmth and comfort.
Contrast fabric: Use sturdy flannel, cotton twill, denim, canvas, nylon, ripstop... for the collar and pockets to add structure.
Lining (optional): Smooth polyester or cotton lining for easy donning and doffing. For extra warmth, consider a thin quilting or padded lining.
