This elegant Reya top looks at its best when made from fluid fabrics with a soft, natural drape. Opt for viscose, lightweight lyocell or cupro to create a smooth, flowing silhouette. Crêpe (in polyester, viscose, silk or cotton) is an excellent choice if you enjoy a subtly visible texture that adds depth to the design. For a luxurious and refined look, silk or satin are especially suitable. If you prefer a more playful effect, consider a semi-sheer fabric such as chiffon or georgette. A fine jacquard with a delicate texture can also lend the garment an elegant, visually interesting relief. When sewing the slimmer version without tie straps, you can experiment with contrasting materials for the insert, such as leather, faux leather, lace or a decorative textured fabric. This creates a bold accent that gives the design a modern, distinctive character.
