Both plain colours and prints create a lovely effect. If you'd like something a bit more dramatic, go for fine corduroy, denim, poplin, leather or seersucker. Do you prefer working with a light, supple fabric? Voile, muslin, crépon or thin viscose create a flowing effect. With firm fabrics like poplin, raw silk, nylon and organza, you're going for a statement piece.
