Pattern Information
The Canyon Dress and Top is a breezy, versatile sewing pattern, designed to make you feel comfortable and cute as you swish through the world. It features a band collar, and v-neckline finished with a placket. There is gathering along the front and back yoke seams, giving it a nice amount of ease. The pattern includes options for long sleeves finished at the wrist with elastic, or short sleeves that hit mid bicep. This is a pull on pattern with no zippers or buttons. The dress view features a comfortable elastic waistband and a tiered skirt with roomy pockets. Pair it with your favourite sweater on an evening stroll or dress it up and wear it on a fancy date!
The Canyon Dress and Shirt is designed for light to mid weight woven fabrics. Fabrics with a bit of drape will give you more of the dressy look, while crisp fabric will give you a classic sundress vibe. Rayon challis, silk, lawn, voile, linen are all great fabrics for this garment.

FIT NOTES:
The Canyon Dress and Shirt has a flexible and comfortable fit. It is brought in at the waist with elastic. There is a comfortable amount of ease throughout the dress. This dress was drafted using sample measurements for a height of 5’6”[168cm]. We recommend sewing a toile to check the fit before cutting into your nice fabric!
A Couple Recommendations to Help Pick a Size:
- Choose your starting size based on your full bust measurement.
- When selecting a cup size (B/C or C/D) choose the option closer to the bra cup size that you wear.

In the Part 2 launch of the Adventure collection we present this stunning, conversational print designed by Rachel Parker featuring Mediterranean Lemons on a dark navy background with the rich green, teal and pink accents. It is perfect for creating elegant garments for spring / summer season and takes us right away to the dreamiest of destinations.
We picked this design with the travel in mind, so it is ideal for those moments when ironing isn’t convenient or if you aren’t friends with it.
Our exclusive viscose fabric itself is a sustainably manufactured fabric with ample drape and very soft, smooth feel. It will make the most beautiful dresses, jumpsuits and blouses.
Mediterranean Lemons is printed on the same quality viscose as our Painted Foliage and Rainbow Leaves. if you have tried sewing and wearing them, you will know that it is one of the finest quality viscose fabrics with its weight and smoothness.

Washing Instructions:
It is advisable to always wash your fabric before sewing as shrinkage will occur when the fabric is first washed. Wash your fabric on a delicate program, temperature max 30°, Gentle spin (max 800 rpm). Do not tumble dry or dry clean. Use brand new, fine Microtex needle as well as new extra fine pins when sewing with viscose.
