Painted Foliage, one of the signature designs in our collection is back in Ocean colour by popular demand. You loved it on the pure linen base previously. We are delighted to bring it back on a soft linen viscose blend this time, in richer cobalt, navy and turquoise shades with rose and white accents. It is a perfect fabric for spring-summer wardrobe and has endless possibilities.
Painted Foliage was exclusively designed by Rachel Parker for Lamazi Fabrics, a lovely personality who has brought a lot of colour and joy to our handmade wardrobes. It features abstract design of foliage in the Ocean Wave shades of cobalt blue, navy, white and green minerals. Inspired by the idea of a rainbow canopy of leaves, Rachel painted the effect of dappled sunlight passing through the foliage and tried to capture summer in the fabric.
The fabric has light to medium weight, soft drape and soft matte texture, offering the best natural qualities of linen and viscose combined together. It is perfect for sewing elegant shirts, blouses, dresses or wide leg summer trousers for the Spring/Summer seasons.

Washing Instructions:
It is advisable to always wash your fabric before sewing as shrinkage will occur when the fabric is first washed. Wash your fabric on a delicate program, temperature max 30°, Gentle spin (max 800 rpm). Do not tumble dry or dry clean. Use brand new, fine Microtex needle as well as new extra fine pins when sewing with viscose.
