Introducing Rome Weekender - a functional and stylish bag that’s perfect for use on a weekend away and any other occasion that requires spare clothing or equipment. The pattern includes two options: view A is fully lined with a quilted back and front, and view B is unlined for a quick and easy project. Both variations feature a convenient front pocket, a large internal back pocket for documents or a laptop, two internal side pockets to keep you organised, dual handles as well as an adjustable and removable shoulder strap. The pattern is suitable for adventurous beginners and experienced sewists alike.
Bonus feature: it meets under-seat cabin bag requirements on current EasyJet flights.
Please note that this is a printed paper pattern containing the envelope with the pattern sheet and instruction booklet.
Fabric suggestions: main fabric: a variety of durable, medium to heavy weight woven fabric with some structure: canvas, twill, waxed cotton, denim some types of upholstery and pre-quilted fabrics. Lining: any lightweight woven fabric.
Notions:
- 4m of 3.8-4cm wide webbing
- 2x D-rings, 1 slider buckle and 2x Swivel hooks to match the width of webbing,
- 1x 56cm long standard zip or continuous zip cut to size with 1 or 2 sliders,
- 3m for view A or 5m for view Bof 2.5cm wide bias binding,
- 1x 5cm piece of hook and look fasting tape (velcro),
- optional: 1m medium weight interfacing (or use with lighter weight fabrics).
