Frankie keeps things sleek and well-designed. This tailored mini dress with a boat neck owes its flattering fit to bust and waist darts at the front and back. The button closure at the centre front is partly decorative: you slip it on via an invisible zip in the side seam and only use the top two buttons (fewer buttonholes, more sewing fun!). Frankie’s neckline and armholes are finished with a facing, and the welt pockets on the front give the design a refined finishing touch.
