This oversized blazer makes a statement with ease. The straight, rectangular cut is given extra structure by the shoulder pads, while the slits in the side seams add a casual touch. The centre-front and centre-back seams add character to the silhouette, with a pocket subtly incorporated into the front seam. Buttons provide a classic fastening and are repeated at the slits in the sleeves. A blazer with a bold look that you can style for both chic and casual occasions.

Fabric recommendations:
This blazer looks its best in a fabric with enough body to give the oversized silhouette and
pronounced shoulders a flattering shape. Think of wool, a wool blend, gabardine, twill or a sturdy suit fabric. Jacquard can also be a real eye-catcher: using (faux) leather instantly gives the sleek, rectangular cut a bold, contemporary look. Do make sure to choose a fabric that isn’t too stiff so the blazer remains comfortable to wear. Avoid fabrics that are too thin or supple, as that extra bit of structure really allows the straight lines, seams and shoulder details to stand out.
