Mina looks like a flouncy mini circle skirt, but is actually a light, playful pair of shorts. The elastic waistband with a tie threaded through buttonholes at the centre front ensures comfort and adds a lovely accent to the waist. You can make the tie yourself or opt for a ready-made version for a quick finish. Last but not least: side- seam pockets are always a bonus.

Fabric recommendations:
Mina works well with a wide variety of fabrics, depending on the look you are going for. For a light, summery look, you could opt for seersucker, poplin, lyocell, linen, satin, broderie anglaise, crinkle jacquard or double gauze. Chambray, viscose (crepe), muslin or a light linen blend also work perfectly for a soft, flowing feel. In short: anything that is light and moves easily is a good match here.
