Material suggestions:

Main fabric:

Cotton : poplin, light twill, batiste or double gauze,
Thin denim or chambray

Thin twill
Linen in summer
Cotton viscose or viscose 100%
Prefer thin fabrics to thick ones (not adapted for gathering)

Second Fabric:

Lining OPTION :
Poplin or batiste in cotton or polyester for the dress lining. The lining is necessary if your main fabric is a little transparent for any season or too thin for a fall winter season. No need for lining with the blouse.
