Matthew is a modern short coat, ideal for winter when made in wool. Minimalist at first glance, its carefully designed cut reveals its true character: a straight, slightly cropped silhouette, dropped shoulders, a clean round neckline and sleeves structured with a pleat. Designed to be accessible for beginners, it is fully lined and features neat finishing details, including discreet in-seam side pockets. A garment that's enjoyable to sew and wear everyday.

The pattern includes: – a detailed booklet providing a simple and pragmatic step-by-step, illustrated guide – a full size pattern (from size 34 to 52 – Seam allowances are included) – all the above in a custom designed envelope with adorable scallop finish.

Fabric Recommendations:
To make this garment, we recommend using a wool fabric of approximately 400g/m2 for the outer fabric, a lightweight lining (such as viscose or cotton) and a satin lining for the sleeves. The pattern is designed for woven fabric.
