Pattern Information:
THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS PATTERN ARE IN ENGLISH
Miette is a short top, to be sewn sleeveless like a tank top or with sleeves and lined for a jacket version. It is characterized by a subtle set of slits: the side seams are deviated forwards to the waist and those of the sleeves use the same principle.
The facings that finish the bottom of the top and the sleeves give a wide hem effect for a look that is both original and structured.
Fabric Information:
We are so excited to present the latest collection from Meet Milk fabrics, who are known for their sustainable, most beautiful, luxurious, wearable and lovable fabrics.
Hoya is the blend of TENCEL ™ Lyocell and linen, which gives this fabric the best qualities of the two much loved sustainable fibers - the soft drape of lyocell combined with a slight crispness and more 'raw' character of the linen, which is also expressed in the attractive jacquard texture.
It's a fairly light fabric, still offering good amount of weight and fullness. It is perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, tunics and light trousers. It is also great for a light summer jacket.
Hoya Jacquard is part of our sustainable collection from meet MILK.
The linen used in this fabric is labelled according to the EUROPEAN FLAX standard.
TENCEL™ Lyocell is a regenerated fiber, which is made of wood pulp from sustainably certified beech and eucalyptus trees. The cellulose fibres from the wood are made into fibres that can be spun and woven. This all happens in a closed loop production process, with no waste, since all water, energy etc. are reused or re-processed.
The composition of the natural fibres from the wood makes Tencel very comfortable to wear. It is soft and breathable, and it has a great ability to absorb moisture and transport it away from the body. From natures hand, the fibres are anti-bacterial, and Tencel requires less washing than fx cotton. Since it is natural fibres, Tencel doesn't get static, and it won't cling to the body.
TENCEL™ Lyocell from our meet MILK collection is Lenzing certified, so the sustainability is guaranteed.
