This kit contains all supplies you will need to make elegant and timeless Dulce skirt or both a skirt and a classic Chanel style Freddie jacket by Bella Loves to Sew in our deadstock Ab Moon wool boucle tweed fabric.
You have the option to either purchase a skirt kit with all supplies and notions required for it. Or both jacket and a skirt kits. Please note that the Jacket kit does not include chain weight, wadding and shoulder pads. You will receive all other sewing notions from us but you will need to source your own optional chain weight and shoulder pads.

All BLP patterns are available for 160cm and 170cm height groups. Please let us know your preference. Failing to inform us your preferred height group, we will print pattern drafted for 170cm height.

Dulce Skirt Pattern Information
Dulce is a high-waisted mini skirt with a slight "A" line shape at the hem. It features two darts on the front and two on the back and in invisible zip on the centre back seam.
The skirt is fully lined with a bagged out lining and an internal separate waistband which is finished with a bias binding on the bottom edge for a luxurious finish.

Freddie Jacket Pattern Information
Freddie is a single-breasted boxy jacket with a round neckline finished with a front and back facing, and is fully lined.
The jacket comes with two pocket options: a single welt pocket with a flap, closed with a single button, and a patch pocket option.
Two-piece sleeves with shoulder pads and sleeve head and vent with four sham buttons; optional internal chain on the inside hem.
Side bust darts on the front and side panels connecting to the back. On the back there is a centre back seam.
The front of the jacket can be finished with four or six buttons if sewing the welt pocket option.

We are delighted to be stocking these wool Boucle fabrics made by one of the oldest and finest mills in the UK - Abraham Moon. Founded in 1837, Abraham Moon are one of the oldest of the very few surviving woollen mills in Great Britain.
Known as Chanel Boucle fabrics, these wool blend fabrics are perfect for making a classic jacket, coat or a skirt to add to your wardrobe. This fabric is ideal for making a Chanel style jacket and skirt set. You can also make jackets, blazers, coats, pinafores, dresses or accessories with it.
Coco Chanel is credited with bringing tweed to high fashion. In 1926, she introduced a tweed version of her signature cardigan jacket containing a mixture of fibres to give it a textured appearance. Chanel tweed suits of the 1950s were the uniform of elite high-society women all over the world. These stunning fabrics remain a statement of luxury and elegance – incorporating a beautiful array of rich colours and textures.
To avoid fraying while working with the fabric we advise you to block fuse it before cutting or to overlock/zig-zag finish the edges as soon as the pieces have been cut.
