Helens closet HOLMES Dress Pattern Information
This pattern includes two size options. There is a B-cup pattern from sizes 0-22 and a D-cup pattern from sizes 12-34.
The Holmes Dress is a relaxed and stylish throw-on-and-go dress for everyday wear. Comfortable, classic, and endlessly wearable. With a deep V-neck, a button-front bodice, and short sleeves, Holmes is perfect for warm weather but it also layers beautifully with leggings and sweaters. Holmes features a gently cinched drawstring waist—pull the ties snug to add shaping, or loosen them for an effortless, laid-back fit. The skirt is finished with a playful ruffle hem for movement and a touch of charm, and deep pockets make it as practical as it is cute. Make View A for a longer, swishier silhouette or choose View B for a breezy, shorter dress. We promise you’ll love living the Holmes Dress life!

Recommended Fabrics:
Light to medium weight woven fabrics with no stretch. We recommend fabrics under 7.5 oz (250 gsm). Rayon/viscose challis or poplin, linen, cotton, and Tencel will work well. Structured fabric will have more dramatic volume and drapier fabrics will have more fluid movement.

Our popular Lupine Petals in blue is back! Now on our popular and unique travel friendly viscose fabric.
Exclusively made for Lamazi Fabrics in small quantities, our collection “Summer Party” celebrates colour and its joyous impact on us. Inspired by Monet’s impressionist floral paintings and the beautiful shape of Lupine flower petals, this hand painted abstract petals design is the most joyful composition of beautiful brushwork in vibrant and happy colours.
The fabric itself is a sustainably manufactured viscose with ample drape and soft, smooth feel. It will make the most beautiful dresses, skirts, jumpsuits and blouses.
Our exclusive viscose has tighter weave and more weight, therefore it is more durable and will crease less compared to the average lightweight viscose fabric.

Washing Instructions:
It is advisable to always wash your fabric before sewing as shrinkage will occur when the fabric is first washed. Wash your fabric on a delicate program, temperature max 30°, Gentle spin (max 800 rpm).
Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
Use brand new, fine Microtex needle as well as new extra fine pins when sewing.
