Sewing Kit - The CANYON Dress & Top in Fluid Paisley Viscose Twill Fabric

 This kit contains all supplies you will need to make our new favourite The Canyon Dress or Top by Friday Pattern Co. in our finest viscose fabric.

-  The Canyon dress & Top A0 printed paper sheets and printed instructions for sizes XS - 7X (bust 81-152cm, 32-60inches)

- 1 matching thread 

- 1.50m elastic 

- Fabric (please choose your preferred style from the menu options). 

Pattern Information

The Canyon Dress and Top is a breezy, versatile sewing pattern, designed to make you feel comfortable and cute as you swish through the world. It features a band collar, and v-neckline finished with a placket. There is gathering along the front and back yoke seams, giving it a nice amount of ease. The pattern includes options for long sleeves finished at the wrist with elastic, or short sleeves that hit mid bicep. This is a pull on pattern with no zippers or buttons. The dress view features a comfortable elastic waistband and a tiered skirt with roomy pockets. Pair it with your favourite sweater on an evening stroll or dress it up and wear it on a fancy date! 

The Canyon Dress and Shirt is designed for light to mid weight woven fabrics. Fabrics with a bit of drape will give you more of the dressy look, while crisp fabric will give you a classic sundress vibe. Rayon challis, silk, lawn, voile, linen are all great fabrics for this garment.

FIT NOTES:

The Canyon Dress and Shirt has a flexible and comfortable fit. It is brought in at the waist with elastic. There is a comfortable amount of ease throughout the dress. This dress was drafted using sample measurements for a height of 5’6”[168cm]. We recommend sewing a toile to check the fit before cutting into your nice fabric! 

A Couple Recommendations to Help Pick a Size: 

• Choose your starting size based on your full bust measurement. 
• When selecting a cup size (B/C or C/D) choose the option closer to the bra cup size that you wear.

Experience the luxury with this soft and fluid Viscose Twill fabrics with bold and vibrant, expressive designs. Made with high-quality ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres, this fabric offers a lovely soft drape with a delicate soft touch. It is opaque and lightweight featuring beautiful paisley design dark green, rust, plum and with some orange accents on a fluid light green coloured background. This fabric is very versatile and perfect for a wide range of garments such as shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts and light trousers.

Care: Always pre-wash your fabric as apprx. 5% shrinkage may occur. Machine wash on cool seating, max 30 dg. Use a delicate setting with low spinning. Hang to dry or dry flat. Do not use tumble dryer! Iron on low to medium temperature. Use sharp new needles when sewing.
