We are over the moon to introduce our latest range of exclusive and very special linen prints in this month’s Makers Club sewing kits. To celebrate this launch we offered you not one, but three sewing kit options for you to choose from, which will allow you to complete your Spring / Summer wardrobe with a unique handmade garments.
All three patterns in these kits are newly launched and well received in the sewing community. Each paired with one of our new linen pints in the range. We picked each linen design carefully to suit the pattern silhouette and character and we cannot wait to see you wearing them.
Dress Sewing Kit
For the dress sewing kit we picked the newly launched Classic shift dress with a TWIST from the French indie brand Maison Fauve… we instantly fell in love with this dress as it perfectly captures the spirit and the artistic movement of the Painted Foliage design. The silhouette is clean and ultra-flattering, with one standout detail: a cleverly constructed drape that softly skims the tummy and defines the waist without feeling restrictive, thanks to an expert play of pleats and precise pattern cutting.
The pattern offers four variations: sleeveless or with short sleeves, and two lengths to choose from, above or below the knee. The boat neck beautifully highlights the collarbones while still allowing you to wear a bra, whatever the sleeve option you choose.
The TWIST dress looks stunning in our Painted Foliage fabric and will look equality beautiful in our Mosaics viscose, as the dress’s unique construction enhances the print … giving it a stylish twist. It is a perfect dress for summer holidays, special occasions or for everyday workwear.
Our brand team member Lisa (@flawingthreads) picked the Ocean colourway of Painted Foliage linen viscose fabric for her TWIST dress and she looks absolutely stunning.

The Fabric
Painted Foliage is one of the signature designs in our collection featuring the abstract design of foliage. Inspired by the idea of a rainbow canopy of leaves, the artist painted the effect of dappled sunlight passing through the foliage and tried to capture summer in the fabric.
The fabric is a blend of 55% and 45% viscose and has light to medium weight, soft drape and soft matte texture. It offering the best natural qualities of linen and viscose combined together.

Shirt Sewing Kit
For the shirt sewing kit we picked another recently launched and already everyone’s favourite Frida shirt by Tilly and the Buttons. Friday is an easy-going shirt pattern with timeless details and a modern, relaxed fit. With two sleeve styles and hem lengths, it's a wearable and versatile addition to your me-made wardrobe. It has modern Boxy silhouette with dropped shoulders, a choice of casual short sleeves or long sleeves pleated into cuffs with plackets, and also a choice of hip-length hem or contemporary cropped version
It pairs beautifully with our new Vintage Lace Linen Viscose fabric, which will allow you to create currently tending and fashionable vintage shirt style with an embroidered detail. You can even cross stitch on the fabric design.

Vintage Lace is part of our 2026 Summer collection. It captures the spirit of treasured textiles, preserving the beauty of vintage craftsmanship. Carefully curated elements, including fragments of antique table linen, a vintage tapestry design and hand drawn sketches of vintage embroideries, come together in a harmonious and intricate composition. The result is a print that exudes warmth, nostalgia and quiet elegance. Same as Painted Foliage above, the fabric is a blend of 55% and 45% viscose and has light to medium weight, soft drape and soft matte texture. It offering the best natural qualities of linen and viscose combined together.
We love Celia’s (@lolbearclothing) cropped version of Frida, which she styled with her handmade denim trousers in light blue.
Two Piece Set Sewing Kit
For the third sewing kit in this month’s Makers Club Luxury Kits we picked this trendy and versatile, a summer wardrobe staple Sophie & Ellis by Atelier Jupe.
Who doesn’t love a double pattern? Sophie is a sleeveless summer top that ties with a knot at the left shoulder, giving the design a playful and lighthearted touch. The knot is a separate pattern piece, so you can also make Sophie as a simple sleeveless top if you prefer. The elegant boat neckline beautifully completes the design.
Sophie pairs perfectly with the Ellis shorts—fitted, mid-waist shorts featuring a waistband and an invisible zipper in the side seam. The front has a center seam with integrated pockets, creating a sleek yet practical detail. At the back, two darts on each piece ensure a flattering, well-shaped fit, while the added ease makes Ellis suitable for woven fabrics without stretch.
