Learn how to get the perfect fit using a new pattern designed by our tutor, Sharlene. This easy fit garment will give you the perfect opportunity to access any areas that will require fitting adjustments that can be applied to any pattern to ensure you always get the perfect fit.
Our course tutor Sharlene has over 8 years of experience in doing alterations and accessing fit issues for her customers. She drafts her own patterns and teaches pattern drafting workshops so has a thorough understanding of patterns.
You will learn techniques such as:
Full/small bust adjustment
Correcting gaping necklines
Narrow shoulder adjustment
Moving the bust point
You will receive your copy of the pattern, instructions and calico before the workshop to give you the opportunity to sew a toile before the class. We will advise you on the right size to sew. Once you have booked the workshop we will ask you to email us with your upper bust, full bust, waist and hip measurements.
Experience: This workshop is aimed at those who have experience sewing and have a thorough understanding of how patterns are put together.
Supplies: You will need to bring your own sewing machine and tools (scissors, pins, etc). You will be able to purchase haberdashery items, fabric and patterns on the day.
Calico, Pattern paper and curved ruler will be provided.
Group size: There will be space for up to 6 people to attend this workshop.
Time:10am - 5pm including lunch break.
Location: Lamazi Fabrics Studio located in the centre of Horsham in West Sussex. Parking is provided on site.
We will provide *tea/coffee and light snacks during a day. Please bring your packed lunch.

Payment: you have option to pay deposit to book your space or pay in full. If you pay deposit, you will be required to pay in full at least 1 weeks before the workshop. Deposit is non refundable but do get in touch if you will need to discuss.
