Cocowawa Crafts CHESTNUT SWEATER AND TOP Sewing Pattern
We have 5 in stock.
The comfy and easy paper pattern sweater and top Chestnut comes with two different options and lots of possibilities to play around with.
In general, you can opt for the sweater with three bow options or the top with the same alternatives. Firstly, version A of either of them has a lovely circular opening at the back that closes with a big bow. Meanwhile, version B sports four bows at the back closing the bodice. And option C offers a more subtle bow alternative with a nice slit or vent at the shoulder. In addition, the top has a slightly longer back and two slits at either side; whereas the sweater offers two sleeve lengths: 3/4 and long sleeves. To sum up, take a good look at all the options and pieces on before you decide.
The easy paper pattern comes with lots of detailed instructions, technical drawings and tips to get the best results when working with knit fabrics. The pattern will become a staple, with a twist, in your handmade wardrobe.
For the sweater version, you can choose any medium to heavy-weight knit fabric with little stretch up to a maximum of 20%. For example thick knits, stable firm knits, cable knit, knit fleece, sweatshirt fleece, sweater knits and French Terry, with a two-way stretch.
In the case of the top version, you can opt for any medium knit fabric with little stretch up to a maximum of 20% and not too fine. For example interlock, double knit or ponte, with a two-way stretch.
