We are so delighted to present the latest collection of high quality fashion fabrics by Mind The MAKER who are based in Denmark and design with the maker in mind. All Mind The Maker fabrics are using sustained manufactured fibres, Oeko Tex Certified and some organic.
This luxurious Linen Knit is the finest quality, light and soft knit fabric with a beautiful, semi-matte surface. It doesn't contain elastane, so you get the pleasure of 100% natural linen. It can be stretched, but be aware that it is not elastic. The light knit is a bit transparent without being directly see-through.
It is perfect for light blouses, tops and light dresses, where you want something that is soft, breathable and extremely comfortable to wear. Avoid using this fabric for the tight neckbands where you need stretch that has a recovery.
We recommend that you wash this fabric before use, as it shrinks the first time you wash it. Wash it gently so that it stays beautiful for a long time. A linen knit has a tendency to pull on the bias when you wash and work with it. If necessary, tack the fabric piece together before washing so that it does not skew in the machine - and make sure to dry it as flat as possible (don't hang it on a line).
The fibers in Fine Linen Knit is certified according to European Flax® standard.
Certified European Flax® fibre is produced exclusively in France, Belgium, or the Netherlands.
The EUROPEAN FLAX® Charter, signed by all the Flax producers, guarantees local farming that respects the environment and commits to zero irrigation, zero GMO, and zero waste. Fibre extraction (scutching) is 100% mechanical meaning zero chemicals are used in the process.
