Summer 2025 Colour Trends

We have a round up of the key colour trends for Spring Summer 2025 to follow on from the key trends we wrote about in spring. Although we are well into the spring and summer months, this can sometimes provide a hint of what is too come in the early autumn season.

We also know that once the heatwaves hit it isn't so much about following the trends but wearing as light and loose a garment as possible! If we can do so in an 'on-trend' colour then we will call that a win.

Most of these colour trends will not come as a surprise to you - it's hard to ignore the recent popularity of Butter Yellow shades or the permanently on-trend pinks and reds. We have a run down of the other colour trends to watch out for this summer and how to style them and take them. We are sure you will be able to see how these colours will see you right through to the coming seasons while looking back on previous blog posts.

Butter Yellow

We have reported on the increasing popularity of this buttery yellow shades for a few years now, from pairing it with shades of khaki green and pale blue in our "Autumn Trends 2024 - Key Colour Trends" blog to shades of soft yellow and teal in "Autumn/Winter Colour Trends 2023".

Now that this colour has hit the main stream, it is nice to see that it is not just a 'fad trend' and can definitely be worn all year round if our previous trend reports are anything to go by.
